Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Vessels app (the "App") and the website kecconsulting.io collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. The App and website are operated by KEC Consulting LLC of Casa Grande, Arizona ("KEC Consulting," "we," "us"). If you have questions, email keith@kecconsulting.io.
Information the App stores on your device
Your game progress, settings, stars, coins, and Verse Journal are stored on your device. If you never sign in, this information stays on your device and we do not receive it.
Optional sign-in and cloud save
If you choose "Save your progress," you sign in with your Google account. We use Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore) to back up your progress so you can restore it on another device. For this we receive and store:
- A unique account identifier from Google, and the email address of the Google account you used to sign in
- Your game progress data (levels, stars, coins, lives, streaks, and journal entries)
We do not receive your Google password.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card or billing details. To confirm and record purchases, the App uses RevenueCat, which receives an app user identifier and purchase receipt information (such as which product was bought and when) from Google Play.
Advertising
The App does not currently show ads. If we add ads in a future version, we will update this policy before the change and describe what advertising data is collected.
Information we do not collect
The App does not collect your precise or approximate location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data, or files. We do not sell your personal information.
How we use information

- To deliver and verify the items you purchase
- To respond to support requests you send us
- To keep the App secure and working
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers needed to run the App: Google (Google Play, Google sign-in, and Firebase) and RevenueCat. These providers process information on our behalf under their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Retention and deletion
Cloud save data is kept until you ask us to delete it. You can request deletion of your account and its data at any time. See how to delete your data. Uninstalling the App removes the data stored on your device.
Children
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
Data sent between the App and our service providers is encrypted in transit. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Website
The kecconsulting.io website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising and does not run analytics. If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
